Cristina Zanotti

Art must tell stories. Stories of what happened, of what is happening and of what will happen. This is the best way to describe Cristina's artistic understanding.
Brush and pencil have been her constant companions since she was a child. She completed her training in Milan at the Accademia di belle Arti di Brera. Her focus was on classical painting and sculpture.
After her studies, Cristina opened the art office Officinae Artis with colleagues. During this time she created large trompe-l'oeil paintings (illusionary paintings) in various Milanese apartments.
Following the call of gold, she learns how to work with the fine precious metal in a family business in Milan. There she also discovers another love. glass. It is invisible and yet present, it is normal and precious, with light the material is unique.
In addition to the glass works, she also creates sculptures in bronze. Glass becomes Cristina's main material during this time.
Glass fusing and casting become the signature of her artistic work for many years.
Currently Cristina has devoted herself to painting again. However, no longer only of the purely classical kind, she tries to combine new and old techniques. She works on her themes with mouse and brush, with print and acrylic, with photography and painting.
Cristina's seminars (workshops) benefit from her classical training at the Accademia di belle Arti di Brera and her constant search for new things. Although with a material such as glass the technique and "how to do it" is a very important point, the creative work remains in the foreground.

Jakobine von Dömming

created with glass, because precisely this material gives her many opportunities to achieve what she wants to express. Her background is painting and working with colored glass for many years. Fusing, furnace casting and glass painting are among your areas of work. Jakobine's works are influenced by her experience as a painter, so that she creates wall objects, sculptures and masks with colored crumbs, fries and powders. In addition to her personal work, she carries out drafts for colleagues and designers. Jakobine regularly gives workshops and has taught at various summer academies at home and abroad.

The beauty of glass art is that you can create a warm feeling for the soul from a cold material
My name is Christine Mühlnickel and I have been self-employed in glass design for over 20 years. For 14 years I have lived and worked at the Müritz.
There I run a glass shop with an open workshop where you can look over our shoulders 6 days a week while we design.
For 12 years I have been giving fusing courses there. Through constant further training I am able to bring the many facets of the glass world closer to my guests.

Frank van den Ham

Frank was born in Amsterdam in 1952 and has been fascinated by glass since childhood. After much self-study and attending many workshops in the US and other countries, he founded his own studio over 40 years ago; first in the Netherlands, later in South Africa and now in Bali, Indonesia. In his own words, "I was lucky enough to be among the first to start fusing in Europe, it put me at the forefront."
Over the years he has become an authority in fusing and form with his work in many museums and exhibitions around the world. His workshops - he has led many in most European countries as well as on other continents - focus on enabling students to create their own personal forms, often without (commercial) moulds, to achieve complete freedom of form. Of course, all kinds of "special techniques", such as avoiding mould marks etc., are also part of the workshop.
