ZAG-ZAG Mosaic pliers 703.01
"The red one" · the all-round tool for universal Tiffany and mosaic work · with spring hinge and splinter bag · for correcting broken edges on outer radii · cutting glass is now easy!
In order to separate mosaic parts from a glass strip in large numbers, one works without a splinter bag. For the precise fine cutting of glass parts, hold the ZAG-ZAG so that the catch bag points outwards. This catches glass splinters and larger parts.
Included in delivery: glass bite pliers, splinter bag, holding rod with knurled nut, Allen key.
Tips:
- Best clean edges can be achieved if the cutting discs are placed at right angles to the glass.
- Change the cutting disc position slightly if the cutting force decreases. Loosen the washers with the Allen key provided and turn them about 2mm further.
- Also ideally suited for cutting glass rods up to 6mm thick.
- These ZAG-ZAG pliers can also be used to break glass. Cut the glass with a glass cutter and split the cut with the end of the tongs. The marking point of the pliers end is visible at the top during use, exactly above the cutting line.
