- The grinding machine must be filled with 1/ 2 cup silicon carbide and 1 - 2 lt water.

- The Grain size is depending on the desired effect ( the coarser the more grinding / coarser structure , approximately 180 gives a good effect).
- Lay the glass block inside and turn on the machine. Set the time , about 3 hours ( Must be set depending on glass size / weight )
- Runnind: the finer the grit the slower the speed
- Cleaning : Use a brush and water to scrub the disk . Catch all with a water vacuum cleaner ( hardware store, about 60 € )
- Or : Take out the Disc (about 48kg ) and clean with water
- The disc may rust , so place a little bit of machine oil after cleaning . The rust does not interfere with further use of the machine. ( Not even when polishing )
- Grind in 2 stages: first grinding of the surface with 180- SiC, then SiC 600 for prepolishing , then polishing with cerium oxide and the felt disc
- For polishing hang up the polishing pad , wet disc with water, mix the cerium oxide with water and pour it onto the felt disc. Place glass and polish for approx 2 - 3 hours.

You start the machine in this way:

Give power to the machine. Press "Start" (the big green one).

Then press "prog" and place the hours for grinding via "+" and "-".

Press "prog" again, than place the minutes via "+" and "-".

Press "prog" again, place the seconds, press "prog" again.

Then press the small "start/ stop" (-) and the machine will run. For stopping between the grinding time press "start/stop" again. For stopping the machine completely press "Stop" (the big red one).
